Frankie Paul - Worries In The Dance

Roots Radics - Version

Album review for USED ITEM: Frankie Paul - Worries In The Dance / Roots Radics - Version (ORIGINAL PRESS)

Used record. Vinyl has some surface noise. Original JA press. Ready to be confused? This tune, "Worries in the Dance" was produced by Joseph Hookim around 1982 at Channel One. Then in 1984 Junjo Lawes produced the more upbeat, big hit "War Is In The Dance" (on a different riddim) which is the one you've heard a million times and rightfully so (it was on the Pass The Tu Sheng Peng album). To make matters worse, when FP sings "War is in the Dance" it sounds like he is saying "Worries in the Dance". Then to cap it all off, when the 1984 Junjo Lawes "War is in the Dance" tune was reissued on 7" on the Volcano and Jah Guidance labels, they erroneously titled it "Worries in the Dance". What does all this mean? This tune reissued here from Digikiller is the 1982 Channel One version, and you don't already own this tune. It's quite different than the much more popular 1984 tune produced by Junjo Lawes. Someone should probably post this summary on Wikipedia, assuming my information is accurate.
